We are proud to serve as one of the few Boerboel breeders on the Southeast.
Waterhole Boerboels, established in 2019, is a small breeding operation located in Huntsville, AL dedicated to the ultimate farm working dog, best known as the South African Boerboel (bor-bul). This specific type of canine is shockingly uncommon in the United States, and other parts of the globe other than South Africa, which is our reason for owning the most powerful breed in the world. The Boerboel breed is known for its strength, loyalty, and protective nature.
We are have registered our dogs with and pledged to maintain the breed standards in accordance with the North America Boerboel Breeders Association (NABBA) membership #20132871 and The South African Boerboel Breeders' Society.

South African Boerboels - The hunting dog you've never heard of
It’s my pleasure to introduce you to a valiant, loyal, and formidable hunting dog - the 200-pound South African Boerboel.
While not often found in lists of top hunting dog breeds - along with Bloodhounds, American Foxhounds, Pitbulls, and others - South African Boerboels (which I’ll refer to simply as Boerboels from now on) excel as both track and takedown dogs with their 41 miles-per-hour sprint speed and record-setting bite pressure of 800-850 pounds per square inch, that’s one fifth the bite pressure of a Great White Shark, to put things in perspective.

Are the Biohacked Boerboels genetically tested? +
Yes. They are 100% Purebred Authentic South African Boerboels. We do a DNA-based genetic verification of each litter. As a breeder, it very important to have a DNA-based genetic profile of our Boerboels prior to breeding, which offers vets and pet owners, and provides that confidence and security of DNA purebred profile results, that help breeders manage genetic history for improvements in the breeders' program.

At what age to get my puppy? +
Around 8 weeks.
Do the puppies come with any guarantee? +
The Breeder will give the Buyer a replacement puppy during the first year as well as a non-transferable health warranty, which shields the Buyer from a puppy that has a dangerous hereditary sickness. Read the Terms and Conditions.
Do you offer puppies outside of the United States? +
We are happy to serve customers in Canada, Australia, Europe, and elsewhere but you'll need to pick up your puppy from Huntsville, Alabama, and arrange proper transport back to your home country.
What documentation and extras are included? +
The transport, registration prepared by NABBA, and additionally, health records (vaccinated and de-wormed) included.
Do I get to name my puppy or do you name it? +
Yes, you can name your dog whatever you want. However, the kennel's name (Biohacked) must be incorporated for puppies, NOT abbreviated. Ex. The Buyer picks the name “Valley” for their puppy's name. The name would be “Biohacked's Valley” for all official purposes. The Breeder will receive credit for all registered litters.
